Stopping Time

“Screech!” Screamed the cars as they halted to a stop.

“AHH!” I shouted at the top of my lungs hoping someone would hear me if not see me in the pitch-black night. The next thing I remember was my eyes blurring with blue and red light splotches in sight, sirens wailing and arms pulling me off the rocky ground. The rest was blacked out though I do remember waking to an unusually large group of faces staring worriedly at me. So many arms wrapped around me, that I couldn’t focus on why everyone was in tears. I stared at who seemed to be my parents. They all looked so old I could barely recognise everyone like my brother, aunt, uncle, and not to mention my baby sister who was now apparently 5 years old! There was so much I had missed, and the worst part was I didn’t even know how! Tears welled out of my eyes trickling onto my lips. I tried to wipe them off but then I felt it. I couldn’t move! I couldn’t do anything! My whole body was frozen with terror, and also because I couldn’t lift a finger, but would I ever be able to do anything ever again?
